WAR & PEACE... WERE YOU THERE AT THE BEGINNING?
Tuesday, 20 March 2012 12:25

The War & Peace Show celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The gargantuan event’s roots lie in a small event organised by the newly-formed Invicta Military-Vehicle Preservation Society (IMPS) at Tenterden in 1982. It wasn’t called the War & Peace Show then, that name was adopted in 1996, but the event has grown year on year, almost certainly far beyond the hopes or expectations of anyone that attended the early shows.

Did you attend any of those early Tenterden shows? You see, editor Blackman can only claim 20 years of show-going – he’s a mere Johnnycome- lately – and we are hoping that some of you may have put a few more years in and have photos, recollections or anecdotes that you’d like to share
with us all. If you do, please get in touch via This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
